The goal of the MuSkLE (Musculo-Skeletal system, Locomotion, Exercise) Summer School 2025 is to educate students on the development, regulation and function of the musculoskeletal system in different physiological and pathophysiological contexts. The influence of exercise and locomotor activities on this system will also be addressed. The training, combining seminars, tutorials and practical work, will be based on interdisciplinary experimental approaches (cellular, tissue, whole organ) conducted in animal models and in Human, in order to understand the mechanisms involved in the plasticity of the musculo-skeletal system.
We welcome Bachelor (in priority) and Master students in molecular biology, cell or developmental biology, medicine, physiotherapy, physiology and exercise science interested in research on the musculo-skeletal system.
Registration is free but mandatory.
A travel grant will be awarded to cover all the costs related to traveling and housing.
The number of places is limited to 20 students.
A selection will be made on the basis of a curriculum vitae and a motivation letter.
CEFR Level B1 or TOEIC > 550 is requested. Students who receive a passing grade of at least 10/20 and respect the Summer School academic rules and regulations will be awarded 3 ECTS.
