Dr Pauline Nauroy
Dr Pauline Nauroy is head of the scientific policy at the Foundation For Rare Diseases, Paris, France. She did a PhD at the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon in Lyon, France, and then pursues her academic career by doing a post-doctorate at the University of Freiburg, Germany, both on extracellular matrix, skin biology and pathologies.
In her current position, Pauline Nauroy is leading the scientific strategy of the Foundation For Rare Diseases through interaction with French and European rare diseases ecosystem. She implements and manages call for proposals, follows research projects financed by the Foundation and detects and supports therapeutical proof of concepts in order to promote the research on rare disease and help the development of new therapies for rare diseases.
