Dr Céline Delloye-Bourgeois
Dr Céline Delloye-Bourgeois is a researcher at the CNRS and leader of the KidsCaN team at the Cancer Research Center of Lyon (CRCL). Her research is focused on functional interactions between fundamental embryogenic processes and the tumoral and metastatic properties of pediatric cancers, particularly those affecting the nervous system. Specifically, the team develops analytical pipelines combining micro-manipulations in the avian embryo, multi-scale imaging approaches and high depth single-cell and spatial omics data. Céline co-founded the startup Oncofactory, which has now become an ERBC company, that exploits the process of cancer cell micro-implantation in avian embryos to propose preclinical evaluation of anticancer therapies and in-depth characterization of therapy mechanisms of action for biomarker discovery and applications in personalized medicine.
